Today I created a survey to see what people in each class is like on social media and not social media. I also gave them a link to follow my account. Later when I get their data I will use that to help determine people on Instagram. Next Wednesday, I will create my presentation and start working on that. I will also post my mass photos on my Instagram account.

Research Concluded!

I think I've concluded my research on the black holes themselves, and will now start outlining my presentation. I found a website about presenting astronomy to the public, so maybe that'll help.

I reviewed my guiding questions and starting expiring in class with taking shadows.   

These are some of my questions that I am aiming to answer...

• What time of day is best time to find shadows outside?
• What angle is the best angle to take a picture of a shadow?
• How much light do you need to create a shadow indoors?
• Does a picture with a shadow work best with or without the flash?

I've recorded about 4 documentaries on black holes so I can expand my sources of information beyond websites. All I need is the time to watch them and get even more research, and then in about a week I can start outlining my physical project. Overall it's going good.

This week I'm planning on how I'll bring materials to school that can be a "live demo" of the progress I made over the semester with my bat speed. I think I've found most of the things I'll need but I need to do a little more searching.

20 Time #4- Calligraphy

Right now, I'm focusing on getting practice in. Repetition and visualizing what should be on the paper is what I need in order to improve. I'm beginning to think about what I will do for my final product, and I'm leaning putting towards multiple quotes from the whole semester in a collage to show my growth. That way, I don’t have to write a long poem/song, and I can demonstrate how far you can come if you constantly practice.

Today I focused on learning how astronomers and scientists can measure the mass and size of a black hole. This is important to my project because these factors are directly related to your experience falling through the black hole and the intensity of it's effects. Overall I'm getting plenty of information and look forward to continuing my research.

Today, I tried to figure out how many posts I should post on my account. I decided that I was going to post 120 posts which will mean 40 pictures of each positive, negative, and neutral pictures. I decided to do this because 120 pictures gives me a lot of data to figure out what kind of people there are. Other than that, today was a really laid back day without a lot of effort needed. All I need to do is start finding my pictures/quotes.

20 Time Update

Today we filmed a couple trick shots and found a video editor to use.  We also found out that it is already downloaded on my computer at home.  Now all we have to do is film the shots.

Blog Post 3/9/16

Today we learned about how we can manage our time well in order to prepare for our project. This information will be useful to our overall project because it will help us use our time effectively and efficiently so we can achieve our goals and don’t have to stress if anything isn’t done on time.

Today, I created my account, @feel.emotions101. I haven’t posted anything on it yet and I still need the request of the class to follow my account. At the beginning of class today I had a problem. I didn’t know whether or not I should post quotes or pictures. I talked to some of my classmates and they said that I should do both because someone could different emotions from different things. I think that I am going to post mass pictures at the end and just have people go through them and like the ones that they like the best.

Today, I learned that the most popular hashtag on Instagram is love. This says a lot about the users of Instagram. Usually when one says the word love, happy/positive thoughts come to mind. The popular hashtag #love shows that there are a lot of positive and less negative people on Instagram.

Today I started my final project planning today for my photography project.  I have decided to start a poster board of all of my favorite pictures that I take over the course of my project.   I also started to plan where when I will take my pictures.

Learning Lefty Update

I had trouble figuring out what to do for my research log today, so I decided to just practice today and see where to go from there. I noticed that I since my printing is going so well, I should start to focus a little more on my cursive writing and coloring/drawing. It is hard to be precise with drawing and shading, so I need to work on that! I’ll start doing more coloring pages to work on this! For my next research log, I think I should look up how to color and draw with my non dominant hand and see what I can find. Overall, though, my project is going very well and I’m seeing so much improvement!

I got sidetracked this week since I played last weekend and haven't had time to put in time to do work alone because I've had practice every other day. This coming week will be easier for me to hit since my coach will be out of town for work. I've scheduled to hit and see my trainer every other day next week.

20 TIME

This week I have been doing more research on what organizations are trusted and best to help. There is not a lot that operate near Windsor but that doesn't mean I cant send in my own boxes and still help. There is also some research I want to do with the psychological mind set of soldiers with PTSD.
