Pictures with Shadows

Today I learned how enhance my pictures with shadows.  One of the best advice I found was to take pictures where the shadow is evident in the scene. Another idea was to turn your camera upside down.  Another thing you could try distort the shadow by manipulating it with a piece of glass or a book.
